Awesome Abs is a Pilates-based workout. It will help to flatten, tone and strengthen your abdominal muscles without building bulk or stressing your joints. Awesome Abs is a safe and highly effective way to stretch, strengthen and streamline your body. This workout can increase flexibility and decrease stress. Most exercises are done on the mat. If you want to have fun working out, this class is for you. This workout is easily geared to your capabilities. No matter what your level of fitness is, there is a place for you in this class. We welcome the beginner to the advanced. Bring your own thicker mat and 2 lb. or 3 lb. hand weights. Class is held in the South Campus cafeteria. You must be registered at least five days before class begins as class will be cancelled if enrollment minimums are not met.No registrations will be taken at the door.
